November :)

After watching a video about Peace and talking a little bit about peace means, we created this piece of Art work using masking tape, paint and one of the many symbols of Peace. We then wrote about what it means to us. 

 The children have also been REALLY enjoying the Pigeon series of book by Mo Willems. They have been engaged in making their own books, using the original to either copy from or gain ideas to create their own stories.

The children have really been in the spirit of Halloween and Fall activities!

This week we made stained glass leaves using tissue paper and transparent paper. We also made cinnamon smelling orange play dough. We carved a pumpkin, scooped out the seeds and compared the difference in the size of seeds. Since one pumpkin was bigger, we noticed that the seeds were bigger  than the smaller pumpkin. We left them out to dry and used them for our pumpkin craft.
