About Me

This is my sixth year teaching Full Day Kindergarten and I am very grateful to be teaching at such an incredible school with wonderful staff and a lovely teaching partner, Mrs. Ansari! Together we have integrated a purposeful play based learning environment that supports the interests of the students in our class, in hopes that they will form a strong passion for learning. Our goal is to provide as many open opportunities for them to explore, discover, investigate, research, and reflect upon their learning as possible. We make a dedicated effort to instill curiosity in our children by inviting them to begin to question the world around them and to be compelled to seek out the answers. Our intention is for this to be a gateway into a life filled with interest and discovery. It is important to recognize that we like to think of our teaching practice as a work in progress that is ever changing. We make a conscience effort to create the most authentic experience for our learners because we truly do learn alongside them.
