I Scream, You Scream, We all scream for ICECREAM!

After reading a poem about Ice Cream and winning and Ice Cream party, we were inspired to build our own ice cream parlour in our classroom.
There was a lot to do!
So we made a list of the different flavours we wanted to offer, the times we wanted to be open until, and a price list for how much each scoop would cost.
 Ice Cream cones!
One of our friends suggested that we have a fridge to keep the ice cream cold! So we collected two cardboard boxes and painted them white:
We also rearranged our wood chip area in our Kindergarten Pen, to give out Tire Garden some more sun. We moved the tries to the other side and transplanted some of the things we were growing in our classroom:
We labelled them to remember what was planted:

Hope you have a lovely weekend!

Happy Mother's Day!

We have worked really hard this week on preparing for today. We had so much in store, but so little time so we tried our best. We hope you enjoyed it :)
We spent lots of time exploring modelling clay this week, making pictures and mixing colours together to create new ones. It all started with playdough and loose parts. Here are some of the things that were create:
We were so impressed!! And it just kept on getting better..

They were just too great not to display on Arts Night! So we set it up on an easel:
We also put out some sand this week:

And some water with seashells:
 Listening to the ocean sounds:

See you all tomorrow! :)
