We ended off the month of October in our cutest little costumes for Halloween!
Followed by some themed activities that were intentionally set up as fine motor strengthening and patterning fun!
This year we took home our treats:
We continued on with patterning:
And continued 'camping out'
And enjoyed 'roasting marshmallows, thanks to one of our parents who brought them in for us:
We traced our hands to make campfires and decided to decorate our door with them. Then the children said that we needed a sky, a sun and some grass, so they decorated away:
During our carpet meeting, we told the children that an animals footprints had been left behind at our camp site. WE wondered what type of animal it could have been. After awhile of guessing, we showed them a picture of 'Richard' the raccoon who just so happened to leave us a little note:
And so, after brainstormed, we left him this note:
Last but not least, we danced the day away on Friday at the Dance-a-thon!!
Hope you all had a fantastic weekend!
