Always believe that something wonderful is about to happen!!

We added the finishing touches to our classroom door this week. We also decided that all that hard work and collaboration had to be accounted for, so we signed our names on the trunk of our tree:
We set up some new centres this week as well with a focus on math, literacy and science.
These ladybug Roll & Cover game sheets were downloaded off of themeasuredmom.com:
This game was found on 123homeschool4me.com:
The children had to match the math equation with the answer in the birds nest.
It was nice to see them helping each other out, when they ran out of fingers to count :)
We displayed some spring sight words for the children in our class to use, when labelling their pictures, or to use as prompts to stories they wanted to write about spring.
They also used the SmartBoard to copy down words:
We played a really fun game this week called 'count the room', where students went on a scavenger hunt to try to find these insects on their sheet and record the number of how many they saw.
They really enjoyed this:
These two girls found them all!!
They were also supporting our Antibullying awareness Day by wearing pink!
