"We were incredible..simply incredible!"

Since February is a month that emphasizes and embraces love and friendship, we learned a song based on those things. We have been practicing everyday and have decided to perform at the Good News assembly, on Friday February 26th at 9:00am. We will perform the song shortly after the welcoming greetings from Mrs. Zarif.

Here is a stage that these two made together to practice the song:

We have made some exciting changes in our classroom! We recently emptied out our sand box and filled it with water. We chose the colour purple since we have not yet used that colour and we added some funnels, sponges, squeeze bottles and foam alphabet letters.

We also opened up a GROCERY STORE! and named it 'Stuffmart'. With the help of some of our SK's, we were able to list the store hours, name tags and some of the weekly specials to get us started.

Thank you for contributing to our experience by saving boxes, bottles and various other things that you have sent in with your child to help us create a 'real-life' experience.

We played a math game this morning where each student was given a card that either had a number or tally marks on it and they had to find their partner who had a card that represented the same number as them.

 Just a friendly reminder to please return the report card and envelop (signed) as soon as you have reviewed it so that it can be filed. Also, we ask that you please make sure your child is dressed in dark bottoms and a red or pink top for our assembly on Friday, which also happens to be 'Fancy Smanchy" Day!
