We wrapped up our Letter Art this week! And then displayed the finished pieces in our hallway, outside of our class:
We also displayed the months of the year with our birth dates under the month we were born so that we don't miss anyone's birthday!
In between this, we PLAYED!!
We had a lot of fun making all kinds of different things with our pattern blocks:
We then challenged the class to make their name out of pattern blocks and amazingly some of them did!!
This student found all of the placemats with the letters in his name as a reference and put his name together!
This JK student amazed us by not using the placemats; instead she used her name card and creatively chose her own blocks to spell out her name.
We also played with the beads and tried to make patterned necklaces with them:

We also made a list of steps we take when we get to school in the morning to remind our friends who sometimes forget what to do.. we will be adding visuals to it next week and putting it somewhere visible for the students to refer to:

Just a reminder that Monday is a P.A. day, so there will be no school.
